Our Phantom design is a very popular cross drilled and slotted pattern that is on our premium cast brake rotors. Premium rotors are electro-coated black around the hub, within the vents and on the vanes. Electro-coating is a plating process that is applied to these brake discs so that they achieve corrosion resistance for optimal performance and looks.
Premium brake rotors are also further balanced and have a disc thickness variation (DTV) tolerance within five thousandths (.005") of an inch. This means that these rotors spin truer; braking will be easier and stops will be smoother with reduced pedal vibration. Furthermore, premium cast rotors are a higher grade cast iron (G3500). This means that compared to standard rotors, the material used for premium rotors is harder and can handle more stress.
For apparent stopping power and actractiveness, our premium series in the Phantom design will not disappoint!
