In order to meet the requirements of today’s high performance vehicles, Cquence makes available two high performance brake pads: the Centric Fleet Performance and StopTech Street Performance brake pads.
Centric Fleet Performance brake pads are specially made to perform in pursuit, rescue and emergency driving conditions where stopping safely needs to be done from high speeds. These brake pads are designed to perform optimally at very high temperatures. Like most of the brake pads we offer at Cquence, these brake pads are manufactured utilizing OE processes and technology:
- positive molding is a manufacturing process that uses extreme pressure to bond the friction material to the backing plate, creating a dense and consistent friction material throughout the life of the brake pad
- precision cut backing plates for direct and easy fitment into the calipers
- low dust friction formula
- fully shimmed for noise abatement
- scorched to eliminate impurities and to provide easy brake pad and brake rotor bed-in
- Completely asbestos free
- Brake hardware (included for select applications)
- Friction formula made of strong, heat-resistant synthetic fibers
StopTech Street Performance brake pads are specifically designed for street and autocross driving. These brake pads are modulated to provide improved brake pedal feel and increased brake fade resistance through the use of a select group of friction compounds. These brake pads include the following manufacturing processes or characteristics:
- Positive mold technology for consistent pedal feel and performance
- Specific friction formula for longer brake pad and rotor wear
- Low dust and low noise (select applications)
- Scorched to support break-in process
- OE-style shims for anti-noise
